I have worked in Funeral Service since I was 17 years old. Born in September 1969 and have been dealing with families for some considerable time and have the wrinkles and grey hair to prove it. (see photos)

Early own in my career I studied and achieved the two main qualifications awarded to the Funeral Profession. I am a fully qualified Embalmer and a member of The British Institute of Embalmers and hold The Diploma in Funeral Directing awarded by the National Associate of Funeral Directors and I am also a member of The British Institute of Funeral Directors.

More recently my company has registered with the Scottish Governments Code of Practice, which means that we must meet a standard in all that we do and are inspected to ensure that our practices and facilities together with our premises, equipment and Staff are all fit for purpose.

It has been my privilege to help many families navigate the stresses of bereavement and provide them with a funeral service that allows them to move forward with no regret.

My two sons Joshua and Eilean together with my daughter Rhiannon have followed me into the family business and have become the second generation of family, I’m looking forward to the third in due course!

Family has always been my priority whether it be my own family or the family who have suffered a bereavement and my kids make me proud every single day. My big sister Patricia has been with me from the start way back in 1999 when Heritage first opened its doors and she is well loved and respected by those we help.

My Promise to you is simply that Heritage will always treat both the living and the dead with dignity and respect.
